Vintage 1982 (?) Nike Penetrator 830709TH5 High Top Leather Basketball Shoes Size 8
They look similar to the Nike Blazer's of the same time, but the toe box area is different - a fellow ebayer pointed out that these are the Nike Penetrators. The code that's printed on the inner ankle (830709TH5).
This was bought for me by my parents back in 1981-1983 to play basketball in Jr and Sr Highschool - sadly I do not remember what store they were purchased at. I wore them frequently as you can probably tell!
I rediscovered these recently in an old box and thought a collector of vintage Nike's might love these. I don't have any use for them, so up on eBay they go!
In BEAT UP condition. These were worn, and worn A LOT. Logo fading on tongue and insoles are either gone or completely faded. Soles have yellowed quite a bit. The leather is separated from the sole on both shoes - the left on the outer edge by the pinkie toe side, the right on the inner on the big toe side near the ball of the foot. Leather is cracked in places but still surprisingly supple in other areas. Lots of tread wear. Please see all photos for details. Great collector's piece, but has major condition issues.
